The International Settlements Association (ISA) is the voluntary grouping of the worlds currency area peoples, who come together for the purposes of global payments settlement between its members as an "unincorporated association". It has a similar authority as the Bank of International Settlements with no separate legal personality, It operates exclusively on an automatron basis, as defined within its Articles of Association. All local currency area's automatically become members of the ISA via their possession of World Currency Units.
